The One and Only Photograph
This painting -- and the photograph used to create the painting -- meant the world to him. Stevie lost his father as a young man and this picture was the one and only photograph he had of himself alongside his father, and being genuinely happy together. Their relationship had been challenging over much of his lifetime, and the joy of possessing a rare photograph that captured such a moment of happiness was priceless.
Honoring His Father
Despite their differences, Stevie still loved his father and wished to honor his memory not just for himself, but also for his surviving grandparents.
A Very Special Gift
From the beginning, the intention was to create a meaningful painted portrait as an extraordinary gift to share with his father's parents, his grandparents, with whom he was very close.
A Daily Reminder of Love
Once completed, the painting was shipped internationally to his grandparents' home in England to act as a daily reminder of their late son. Stevie expressed his deepest desire that they may hopefully experience a bit of renewed joy by having their late son's smiling face looking upon them every day.

"When we work together, you'll be guided through each step of the process, know what to expect, and there will be no surprises about a person's likeness. In the end, you'll have the custom painting you have always envisioned."
